A Fortune-Telling Story

A couple of nights ago I went to the local Chinese restaurant for some take-out.  After I enjoyed my meal, I opened my fortune cookie.  Once again, the fortune was quite appropriate for me.  I love to save the fortunes and place them in my wallet to read at a later time.  So I opened my wallet and took out the fortunes that I had already saved.  As I read each one, I realized they were telling me a story.

Messages come to us daily in many different ways, whether it is a song on the radio, the headline on a newspaper, or fortunes from fortune cookies.  Our job is to pay attention to the signs along the way and decode the breadcrumbs of insight the universe leaves for us.

I am always amazed at how perfectly the universe choreographs events.  All things in divine timing, I always say.  The timing of this fortunate event of reading my fortunes is no different.

Here is the "fortunate" story told by my fortunes -

We must become the change we want to see.

Stop worrying and take a chance.

Any idea seriously entertained tends to bring about the realization of itself.

The human body was designed to walk, run, or stop; it wasn't built for coasting.

A recent investment will pay off.

They will be grateful that you cared enough to make it.

All the news you receive will be positive and uplifting.

And the fortune I received just the other night... Love is on its way.

For five years now, I have dedicated my life and work to assist others in realizing who they really are and remembering their divinity.  During this time, I published my first book, In the Key of Life, An Activational Journey to the Soul, and created a school of self-mastery called Coeuressence based on my book.

In the Key of Life consists of inspired writings with accompanying sacred geometry drawings that represent the energy of the writings.  The writings activate the conscious mind and the drawings activate the subconscious mind to assist readers in realizing who they truly are and to live their life purpose.  It is like taking my healing work and putting it into the book, which is meant to be re-read and used as a tool for self-transformation.

Part of my work in the world is to teach others how to become self-realized.  I saw the grand vision of what Coeuressence School of Self-Mastery will become.  My job was to step it down into a meaningful and manageable program to start.  Just this past year I completed the first phase - an enhanced self-study program that anyone anywhere can access.

Before I could write the book and create the school, I "became the change I wanted to see."

I believed in myself and decided to "stop worrying and take a chance."

I remained single-minded with my creation - "Any idea seriously entertained tends to bring about the realization of itself."

If I want my dream to manifest, I must do my part - walk, run but not coast.  As many of my friends know, I have been "on the road" for over five years so there was no "coasting" for me!

I believe in myself and know that even if I use some of my savings that my "recent investment will pay-off."  In a world full of uncertainties and financial ups and downs, I took a chance on me, knowing that the odds are in my favor.

I continue to believe knowing that "all the news I receive will be positive and uplifting."  I know this because I trust in love.  I do my work because I love the Earth and all of her inhabitants so deeply.  "Love is on its way" not only for me in my personal life.  Love is on its way for humanity.  When we awaken to the truth of who we are, it must be so for "at the heart of who you are is a love song that has always been resonating." ~ In the Key of Life, An Activational Journey to the Soul.

Awakening the Avatar

If you are a movie buff, read the newspaper, or watch TV, by now you have heard about or seen the movie, AvatarIt has surpassed Titanic as the highest grossing movie worldwide.  Besides its beautiful colors, awesome special effects, and astonishingly real 3-D images, this movie represents more than high tech movie-making.  James Cameron, its writer and director, envisioned this movie over a decade ago. Since then, he has worked on developing the 3-D technology and computer simulations that would make his dream a reality upon the screen.

Timing is everything.  Technologically and consciously we were not ready for this movie ten years ago.  More important is the exact timing of its release.  The movie, which was released on 12/18/2009, is still drawing in crowds more than a month later.  When I look back at the energies from 12/18 until now, a lot has been going on.  From mercury retro and then direct, to mars retro in Leo, to the full blue moon lunar eclipse on 12/31, to the solar eclipse of 1/14 in Cancer/Capricorn, to Saturn retro, and Jupiter moving into Pisces, there has been a lot going on!

To me, this energy represents shaking out the old, seeking the new, and sharing who you really are with the world.  In a word, these energies assist us in becoming congruent - our true essential selves are portrayed as who we are or more simply, our inner world matches our outer world.  What does this have to do with the movie, Avatar?  A whole lot.

The term avatar comes from Hindu mythology meaning "the descent of a deity to the earth in an incarnate form or some manifest shape; the incarnation of a god."  In other words, an avatar is one who has mastered congruency.

This movie is filled with metaphor.  The protagonist, Jake Sully, agrees to take on his Na'vi human hybrid body called an avatar.  He does this to fill the role of his now deceased brother and to help the humans understand and control the Na'vi natives to "obtain the unobtainium."  As he goes back and forth between his human body and avatar body, he begins to loose his identity.  In one of his video journals, he records he doesn't know who he is anymore.  Does this sound familiar?

Watching Avatar was an activation for me.  I saw the movie in 3-D, which made it even more potent.  I chose to see the movie on my birthday as a gift to myself, not knowing that at the end of the movie Jake says he doesn't want to be late for his party...his birthday party.  Perhaps the term birthday was used metaphorically as this was the day he chose to leave his human body and enter into his avatar body for the remainder of this lifetime.  I think of birthdays as re-birthdays and this was truly a rebirth day for Jake...and me.

As I said in my last blog, the energy at the beginning of 2010 is purely full steam ahead.  Once you embark from shore, there is no going back.  Once you embody the persona of who you really are, there is no going back to who you were.  Jake Sully knew that once the ritual was performed, he could not return to his human body, to who he was.

After I left the movie theater, I was shaking.  Like Jake, I questioned who I am.  I wondered if I was losing my mind.  Am I leaving the old me behind and fully embodying the avatar that I am?

We are losing our minds, our limiting thought patterns and old consciousness, in order to make room for the new.  This year is characterized by emergent energy - the energy of coming into existence and coming into view or notice.

Dear lightworkers, this is the year we emerge from our chrysalis.  As I wrote in my book, In the Key of Life, An Activational Journey to the Soul:  "...there comes the moment in a caterpillar's life that requires the ultimate act of surrender and faith.  It knows it must allow the death of one body in order to step into another that will allow it to reach the sky.  Just like the caterpillar, within each of us is a butterfly waiting to fly."

And so it is.

2010 - A Year of Miracles

What an incredible year we have in store for us.  2010 started with a bang.  With the Full Blue Moon Solar Eclipse on New Year's Eve to herald in the new, to Mercury and Mars going retrograde, and with a New Moon Solar Eclipse coming on January 15, we have a truckload of potential energy.

This combination of energy is like pulling back on a slingshot, the bow of an arrow, or the trigger of a gun.  Back we go again for another round of "re's" - rethink, revise, reconfigure, redo, revisit.  This pulling back motion takes energy.  It takes energy to pull back the bow or cock the trigger and at the same time, we are creating potential energy.  The energy of the stretched-back bow is what propels the arrow.  This energy is waiting to be released into that forward motion for which we have waited for so long.

After the Solar Eclipse on January 15 and Mercury goes direct on January 16, the energy lets go and we let go.  It is total fast forward motion and when we release the bow or pull the trigger, there is no more controlling what we have set in motion.  Once we let go of the bow, we cannot grab the arrow and retrieve it.  We can't even change its trajectory.  Once the task is executed, there is no stopping it.  We cannot return the bullet to the barrel, the arrow to the bow, or the stone to the slingshot.

After we let go, we are at the will of our hearts.  Our hearts create the patterns we follow.  They created the trajectory of our arrows.  The universe will now mirror back our hearts' desires that we projected years ago.  It is the projection of what we felt in our hearts and its passion that has been building and building, literally building the roads, bridges, tunnels, and superhighways for our forward journey this new year.

This next week, before the release of this energy, is the time to clean out our spiritual closets.  Replace the old with the new.  Review our vision for our future.  Soon it will be time for us to come out of our spiritual closets.  The world wants to see us, to hear us, to know who we are, to shine our light!  It is time to bring all of who we are forward.  Remember in this forward motion, there is no going back.

By the time the spring equinox comes, we will truly spring into action.  It will be the dawn of a new day.  Around January 17 the "big bang" happens and at the equinox, the physical takes form.  It takes time after the release of energy or the big bang for things to manifest.  Everything may be in total chaos to begin.  Creation comes through chaos and then order starts to appear.

By March 20 we will see a concrete pattern of what is forming in our lives this year.  Now the etheric template that we created through our hearts' desires will come into the physical.  We will precipitate our passions.  We will see it, we will feel it, and we will know it.  There is no more guesswork.  What we have dreamed, what we have envisioned, what we have loved into existence, becomes reality.

So now as we are now going back and "ringing out the old", this twisting and pulling energy is fueling our potential.  When enough energy builds, we will release our potential.  This release, this letting go, this surrender of our will to divine will will propel us forward, into the life of our dreams.  Our wildest dreams will become our reality and more - beyond what we can envision.  This is only the foundation of what we are creating, for what we are creating is so enormous, we could not envision it with our present mindset.

Expect miracles this year and know that our beliefs will change.  A miracle is only a miracle until we have a new experience that changes our beliefs.  We all may say, "I thought this wasn't possible but now I see that it is."

We are God incarnate.  We are the Divine in form.  We are the ones that co-create our reality.  We are victims no more but the masters of our lives.  And so it is.

A most glorious New Year to you all!

'Tis the Season

I love the holidays, especially when they are celebrated consciously. We start the holiday season with Thanksgiving. What a beautiful way to begin with the vibration of gratitude. It reminds us the way to start anything is with gratitude.

Hanukkah and Christmas are next in the holiday parade.
Hanukkah reminds us that our essential nature is light. The word Christmas is literally defined as Christ's festival, the celebration of the birth of a master. A master who mirrored to us who we are. It was the advent of Christ consciousness within the matrix. Joy and good/god will are part of our original blueprint, something to be shared everyday instead of once a year. As the Hopi say, we are the ones we have been waiting for. We are our own saviors. No one and nothing outside ourselves will "save" us from our limited belief systems but ourselves. It is time to celebrate the masters of light that we are!

On New Year's Eve we reflect on the past year. We take time to review our actions and beliefs, knowing that self-reflection is key to self-growth. It is also time to make resolutions and set intentions for the new year.
It is interesting that we use the term new not next to describe the coming year. New Year's Day holds the energy of renewal, when the universe hands us another year upon which to write our life. Our hearts are full of gratitude for another year. The holiday cycle is complete!

This holy-day season, may you awaken to the Christ consciousness within and celebrate the God that you are! May your new year be filled with joy, hope, love, laughter, peace, and gratitude.

The Power of Gratitude

Another Thanksgiving is less than a week away. As I pondered the meaning of the holiday, I asked myself what makes gratitude so powerful? Giving thanks is so important that we made it a national holiday. Every religion emphasizes the importance of gratitude and every language has a linguistic equivalent for the word gratitude. So I did a little research on gratitude. Here's what I found.

From a study entitled "Gratitude & Happiness: Development of a Measure of Gratitude & Relationships with Subjective Well-Being", published in Social Behavior and Personality in 2003, the researchers found that gratitude is a highly developed trait and ranks in the top 4% in terms of likable traits. It improves mood and naturally occurs as a result of happiness. Being grateful is important to living the good life and increasing a sense of well-being. Grateful people have a sense of abundance, simple appreciation, and appreciation of others.

A University of Miami study found that gratitude is integral to health, wholeness, and well-being. It increases optimism, decreases physical symptoms, aids in personal goal attainment, increases a feeling of connection with others, and improves sleep. People who practice gratitude are more likely to help someone with a personal problem or offer emotional support. They are more empathic and take the perspective of others. They place less importance on material things. Generosity, sharing, commitment and responsibility to others are natural outcomes of being grateful. The study also indicates that faith enhances the ability to be grateful.

Wow! Gratitude is powerful medicine and when we have faith, especially in ourselves, gratitude naturally increases. From an energetic or spiritual perspective, the more you are grateful for something, the more the universe brings similar opportunities to you. It simply follows the Law of Attraction.

What are you grateful for this Thanksgiving? What do you choose to attract more of at this time of year? As the song goes, "I've got plenty to be thankful for."

Just this side of paradise

Messages come to us when we pay attention. As I was perusing some metaphysical books at a Barnes & Noble the other day, the words to the song playing in the background got my attention. While not the exact words, a line from the song went something like this: You are an angel come down from the heavens. I smiled, grateful for the reminder, and kept skimming Deepak's new book, Reinventing the Body, Resurrecting the Soul. I just finished reading this excerpt from his book:

The spiritual path unfolds when you follow your heart's desire. Inside everyone is a place that is intimate, alive, and full of yearning. It doesn't focus on God, or salvation, or unconditional love. It focuses on the next thing it desires. If that next thing is fulfilled, there will be a next thing, and then another and on and on.

As I was prompted by the book, I asked my heart this question: What is next? Home was the swift response. I then asked what "home" means to me. Immediately a feeling of pure contentment came over me as I imagined myself with my yet-to-be revealed ideal partner
. In that same moment, my eyes were drawn to a sign at the end of a row of books. Only half of the sign was visible from where I sat. There, on the red sign, was the word Romance. My attention was then drawn to the wall poster on the far wall. On it was a drawing of a couple with these words: This side of paradise. Yes, I am just this side of paradise. What is next for me is feeding my heart the love it has craved for years.

We are all "just this side of paradise." I keep getting messages that wonderful change is about to sweep through my life. Amen. 11:11 will be an enormous gateway ushering in our new life. Now is the time to ask your heart what it desires next. "All you can do is what is next." I have heard this advise from a close friend many times and I have given this advise to clients. Do what is next and then the next step will be shown to you.

Especially during these chaotic times, my best advice is to pay attention, be in the moment, and focus on what is next. First and foremost, pay attention to what your heart desires then pay attention to the messages that come your way to confirm you are following the path your heart created for you. Allow your heart to take the wheel of your life. Use your mind for reference and interpretation and let your heart do the navigating.

For now, clarify what your heart tells you is next and then focus your attention and intention on that. Watch for signs and follow the bread crumbs of your soul. Be grateful. Act as if you have already attained your heart's desire. Be in your joy. Joy is like a glue. It will attract people to you to assist in creating your heart's desire. Joy-n together. Co-create. Laugh. Play. New life is just this side of paradise.

Idling in Neutral

My July blog was about reaching zero point. It has taken three months for us to integrate enough of this energy to actually feel it in our bodies and see the outward manifestation of it in our lives. Fatigue and lethargy seem to be the prominent physical manifestations, while neutrality about anything and everything seems to have immobilized us from moving on our outward manifestation.

The current energy is a spiritual no man's land - quite literally for me as I have yet to find a place to live that feels right. In this no man's land we may feel totally detached and choose to detach from the 3D reality. We may have the urge to move away from urban areas, find a community of like-minded people, live in a "green" home, off the land, and off the grid.

It has been a long and at times arduous process for us to release and release, transmute and transmute the lower vibrational "baggage" we all packed. I must have thought I was going on an a hugely extended stay when I packed my "bags" before arriving on earth this lifetime. In the past three months, I have unpacked so much energetic and karmic baggage that when I think about it, I literally get dizzy. Oh but there's more! There always is and the next big purge is coming between mid October and mid November. For those who are dedicated to self growth, it is like going through airport security, everyone one of your bags opened, the contents dumped onto the table, and each piece inspected. How's that for "homeland" security!

What is the "security" about? It is about being secure in who we are. It is about knowing beyond a shadow of a doubt who we and why we are here. It is about believing in ourselves, trusting in our unique divine blueprint, and the one Source of All. As I say in my book, In the Key of Life, An Activational Journey to the Soul, "Your security is directly proportional to your faith."

While it feels like we are idling in neutral with no apparent motion, it is important to note we are not in park. When a vehicle is in neutral, it can be moved by outside forces. When it is in park, the vehicle normally cannot be moved. We are transmuting and integrating a gargantuan amount of energy while we are in neutral, which started after the summer solstice. This monumental move up in frequency cycle will end on the 11/11/11 gateway next month, when we finally get the green light to shift into drive.

For now, go within and do your inner work. Just be and be grateful...for everything.
