Home for Christmas

As I was driving this morning, the song "I'll Be Home for Christmas" was playing on the radio. Several people have asked me where I plan to spend Christmas. My answer has been, "I don't know." As soon as I heard the song this morning, I knew where I would be. I will be home this Christmas, perhaps for the first time. Home within my heart, within the essence of my being. I will be home with my God Self.

I used to love Christmas. It was my favorite time of year. Ask anyone who knew me. I knew all of the words to most of the Christmas shows. Rudolph was my favorite.
Before I left on my road trip, I sold or gave away most of my belongings which included my Christmas decorations. Guess my higher self knew what was coming.

It is interesting that this year Christmas feels out of place to me. When I look at my life, I see that I live Christmas every day. I celebrate each day: the joy of living in the moment, the wonder of nature, love for all of God's creation, compassion and forgiveness for my debtors, healing the "sick," and using my intuitive abilities to act as my star of Bethlehem, to guide my way. Christmas, the time of Christ, of living as the God that I am, does not fall on one day a year. It is a way of life.

This year, I do not celebrate the birth of a man who showed us that we all are Gods incarnate. I celebrate my birth, or rather rebirth, of the God that I am. "These things and more shall you do," Jesus said. If he was able to heal the sick, help the blind see, master his intuitive abilities, then so it is with all of us...and more.

When you listen to Christmas songs, I invite you to put your name in place of Jesus'. This is why he came - to show us all our divine nature. If we are made in the image and likeness of God, how can it be otherwise?

Joy to the world my God Self has come! I sleep in heavenly peace.

Through the Gateway, to the Peak, and Overflowing!

Well, my drive back west has certainly been interesting. The trip has been an activation for me in so many ways and at so many levels. Trusting my gut feelings has been a huge blessing. I decided to take route 70 west since I had stopped to visit my nephew and great nephew in Dayton, Ohio. Route 70 goes through St. Louis and I knew it was important symbolically for me to go through the gateway arch. Walking under the arch felt like entering a gateway to another dimension, even the tramcars inside the arch looked like mini spaceships.

While I was in St. Louis, I was strongly guided to visit the butterfly house. I watched butterflies as they hatched from their chrysalis. I guess I wanted some more metamorphosis! As I watched the butterflies make their way out into the world, I thought, “Rebirth isn’t pretty.” Think about what a new chick looks like when it first comes out of the shell, or any new born for that matter. It is tiring work breaking out of our shells. Rebirth is usually messy…and magical. Walking through the greenhouse filled with all different varieties and colors of butterflies was transformational in itself. The only way I can describe my experience is that it was the closest thing I have experienced on earth that reminds me of heaven. Like a rainbow after the rain, beauty replaces the not so pretty rebirth.

When I entered Denver, my gut told me something wasn’t right. The next day, in Colorado Springs, my car broke down. As I reached the parking lot of Cave of the Winds, steam poured out from under my hood. It was a steep climb to the parking lot, reaching what seemed to be close to the elevation of nearby Pikes Peak. I had the car serviced and I still didn’t feel right about it. When I got back to the hotel later that day, I checked under the hood again. There were some new areas where the coolant had leaked, so I took it in to be checked again. There was a crack in the neck of the radiator, which meant that the radiator would have to be replaced. It couldn’t have happened at a better time and location during my travels. I am always taken care of. I was in town and not on a secluded stretch of road, and the repair shop was within walking distance of my hotel. Even so, my fear around not enough money came up when I found out the new radiator would cost hundreds of dollars. I had been told by at least four people that I need not worry about my abundance. It is coming and my work will support me. After all, I reached the peak, so to speak, and was overflowing, with coolant anyway. Humm, maybe this is a good omen and it’s days like this that make believing in my coming abundance a little more challenging. Most of the time I trust and know that the universe supports me and “most of the time” is not good enough. So, my higher self called in another experience to facilitate releasing more fear around money and to trust 100% of the time. After all, isn’t that what a master does?

As the metaphysical principle goes, “As without, so within.” My motor vehicle (without) had broken down, and now my physical vehicle, my body (within), goes through its own “breakdown.” My internal world of microorganisms and cells are moving into another level of homeostasis, which on the outside appears as a cold. It is the breakdown before the breakthrough, as a friend of mine used to say.

So many of us now are testing our level of trust by calling to ourselves our greatest fears. One of my greatest fears has been around being homeless. So, here I am on the road without a physical home. Interestingly, it feels okay, even right, to be without a traditional home base for now. As more of my fear around money gets released, I remember what I wrote in my book, In the Key of Life, An Activational Journey to the Soul, “Your security is directly proportional to your faith.”

During the holidays, we are reminded of two of our greatest emotional states: gratitude and faith. I have plenty to be thankful for this Thanksgiving and every day. As for Christmas, yes, the time of the Christed frequencies is upon me. Time to act as the master that I am with complete faith. After all, I passed through the gateway, went to the peak, and now I am overflowing! Joy to the world!

Clarion Call

The energies of late have left me feeling depressed. Just after really feeling and acknowledging my need to be loved, who emailed me? My ex-partner, who I had asked almost exactly a year ago to please stop calling me. The subject of the email: "Thank you." The message: for waking me up. The timing is uncanny. Yet another full circle in my life. 'Tis the season. Whether it is another plea to get me to communicate or a way of saying thank you for your tough love doesn't matter. The words are what matter. They trigger a universal response deep inside. After all, waking people up is why I am on a road to seemingly nowhere with unknown resources. It is why I get up each day and take another breath. It is my passion and purpose. "Why is it so difficult to get my work to the masses?," I ask myself daily. Sometimes I feel like packing up and going home, as the saying goes. Only I am packed and there is no physical home to go to.

The depression is not just mine. It comes from deep within the earth. Mother Earth needs to be loved too and I am feeling it. A tremendous shift is upon us: volcanic eruptions, floods, earthquakes, potential new wars, shortages of fuel and water, economic uncertainty, mass migrations, life altering changes, and list goes on. Hundreds of thousands have no home to go back to. "The bump in the road," as I call it, on our way to waking up is directly in front of us. We have little time to swerve to avoid it. Best to just hold on and ride it out. Go with its flow and do not use your energy to resist it. It is merely energy moving to clear itself.

As I wrote in my book, In the Key of Life, An Activational Journey to the Soul, "The earth is changing now. Love her in her transition." Love is the key. No matter what happens, send love, starting with yourself. Allow the change, without and within. Open your heart to yourself and then to others. The clarion call to love has arrived.

Are you on your path of awakening and would like assistance in these chaotic times? What's in a name?

A name calls forth a particular vibration or sound. In the beginning was the word, the first breath of the universe breathing life into existence. Our names embody our existence. They breathe life into us.

For years I have been intrigued by a place near the ocean that breathes in part of my essence, part of who I am, because of its name. Mystic. What’s in this name?

Yesterday, I was mostly directionless and surrendered fully to each moment. I stopped at a motel that just didn’t feel right, so I left and kept driving. And driving. Until I ended up at my sister’s house downstate, as New Yorkers call it. I am so close to Connecticut, I thought. So, I decided to visit that place by the ocean with the intriguing name.

Here I am, in Mystic, Connecticut, the mystic in Mystic. As soon as I arrived, I drove to the seaport to smell the salty sea air. It has been over 15 years since I lived about a mile from the Atlantic Ocean. It felt good. It felt sacred. I wanted to hug the water. I felt so connected to it that I wanted to jump in and feel it surround me. “I can’t swim,” I thought. It didn’t matter. The water felt like my mother and I just wanted to be in her arms. I knew I would be safe. I imagined myself in the water, gently held in her arms, being rocked back and forth, following the flow of each wave. It was then I realized how much I missed the water, having lived in the high desert the past three years.

Atop the Mystic River drawbridge, I said the words that Dr. Emoto uses to raise the vibration of water. “Water I thank you. Water I respect you. Water I love you.” I thought about how precious water is and about the people of Atlanta who are facing a water shortage. My heart filled with emotion.

Water is symbolic of emotion. How interesting that the man who has now devoted his life to water is named Emoto. What’s in a name? Emotions are flowing on the east coast as many states are experiencing historic drought conditions and on the west coast as many lose homes and businesses to devastating fires. Fire and water. Earth and air. We have forgotten the elementals, our fundamental building blocks. We have forgotten that we are first spiritual beings, then physical beings. We have forgotten that we are all mystics - that everything is part of us, part of Source. We are part of the water, fire, earth, and air.

As I tour the area, I notice there are very few places that are overtly “mystical;” a tarot reader here, a mystical hometown author there. Interestingly, I feel my mysticism even more. I am in my joy and live as if I have all the time and money in the world. For in the words of an inspirational speaker I heard years ago, “If you believe it, be “live” it. We are all called to live the life of a mystic while still taking care of the kids, going to board meetings, and working two jobs. If we send the message to the universe that we will only accept our grandest and greatest vision of ourselves and our lives, that is exactly what the universe sends back to us in reply.

What’s in a name? Everything.

If you would like to fully become the mystic that you are, enroll in my school of self-mastery called Coeuressence by going to my website, http://joancerio.com and click on the Events & Classes page. Save over $100 by enrolling by November 30!

Returning to the Flock

In the movie, Jonathan Livingston Seagull, Jonathan knows there is more to life than what the majority of his flock believes. So, he sets out to fly faster than any seagull has flown before and eventually accomplishes his goal. The flock perceives his flying as reckless and are not yet able to open to a more expanded perspective similar to Jonathan's. As such, fear takes over and they label Jonathan as an outcast. Nevertheless, Jonathan continues his pursuit of flying faster as he travels the world alone. Jonathan is mentored by a divine master seagull after his ascension. After many "lessons," the master knows Jonathan is now ready to share what he has remembered with others. As such, the master says to Jonathan, "Jonathan, it's time to return to the flock." Although reluctant to go at first, Jonathan soon realizes deep inside that he, too, is a master and returns to his flock.

Indeed, it is time for me and other lightworkers to return to the "flock" and begin the next level of our work. It is time for us to realize our mastery and inspire others to live their mastery.

After almost 3000 miles, I have returned to my "flock." I am now back in Central NY, my birthplace. I know it is important for me to begin the next level of my soul work and mastery here in NY.

Seagulls have been appearing to me since visiting Sandusky, Ohio. As I was getting into my car this morning, I looked up and there was a seagull. Of course there is more to the sightings than just "returning to the flock." Masters at moving through the three worlds they inhabit - air, water, and land -seagulls are as much at home on land as they are in the air or at sea, easily bridging heaving and earth. Something I find increasingly easy to do.

What I find challenging is adjusting to total surrender, allowing the road, the land, and the moment to guide me.
I am slowly adjusting to living on the road, surrendering a little more each day, allowing my divine plan to unfold, moment by moment. In truth, the lesson of surrender is applicable for more than just living on the road. It is a life lesson. Act in accordance with your divine plan and then, get out of your way.

As I organize talks and book signings, I remember to get out of my way. I surrender to the flow of energy for the day - I plan when it feels right, and play when it feels right. All things in balance.

One of my stops along the way was at Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. Immense red and white rock formations emerge in stark contrast to the green trees, endless blue skies, and breathtaking view of Pikes Peak. Every formation has been given a name. One is appropriately named balance rock, a large boulder that sits balanced upon another rock formation. After obliging a couple to take their picture in front of balance rock, the woman asked if I wanted my picture taken in front of the rock. Staying in the moment, I realized just how perfect it was, and of course said yes. I now have the energy of balance intermingled with mine on a snapshot. Balance is key, especially for these changing times. It is our essential state. Just as joy and abundance are when we live our soul's passion and purpose.

As I continue to live my passion and purpose to assist others in realizing their own passion and purpose, I am grateful to have returned to the "flock." I am grateful for each moment I bring some light and love to someone whom I haven't yet met and remind myself and others that we are all connected. No one is a stranger...we are all part of the one flock.

"
Joanathan, it's time to return to the flock."

Here I am, universe. Grateful to be of service.

Jump!

As spiritual warriors, we have been flying, for the most part, a well-chartered course, each of us with our unique assignment, awaiting the green light. All is prepared and in order: jump suits, maps, compass, survival gear, and parachutes. It's time to stand up, hook up and shuffle to the front. There is only enough time left for last minute checks. Everything latched and secured? We take another step closer to the door. Our hearts begin to pound. Sweat beads up like water on duck's back.

For years we have prepared for this very moment. We willingly and lovingly chose this mission and now that we are about to embark on our first campaign, shock sets in. We forget what we had remembered. Our internal guidance system seems to have malfunctioned and our full attention goes to the pit of our stomachs. Thoughts permeate the cabin like intuitive whispers. "It is really happening. Are we ready?"

Something brings us back to the task at hand. We realize we are next in line to jump. The words "next" and "go" echo through our heads like an eagle's cry in a canyon. "Who packed our chutes?" Panic sets in for a moment, then we hear "TRUST." We look up, see the green light, and hear "Go!" In the millisecond it takes us to leap from the plane, a total life review flashes before our eyes. We see, hear, and feel everything we have experienced. Without another thought, our body is in free-fall and quite literally, anything that has held us back, falls away. We are totally free. In this beautiful and terrifying moment, we finally feel what it is like to be truly alive, to live our life with abandon, and to be fully focused on the moment of now. No thoughts are necessary. Every action occurs on cue, as if perfectly orchestrated.

Our hands feel the ring and our arms move away from our bodies. After the sound of the chutes opening, we feel a strong tug at our shoulders, as if our guardian angels have grabbed us and said, "We've got you." We float, silently. We see things from a new perspective. Everything looks different, more vibrant, more alive. A knowing comes that our landing sites have already been prepared and we relax into the hands of the universe to guide us gently and effortlessly to where our new work will begin.

Before I moved to Sedona, I had asked myself, "Can I jump and know the universe will catch me?" It is time for all of us to jump and trust the universe will catch us. As the fall equinox approaches, I realize it is time for "fall," a free-fall into who we really are, into our, until now, top secret assignments, and play the part we agreed to play.

As I jump and trust the universe will catch me on my journey across country to promote my book, In the Key of Life, An Activational Journey to the Soul, and my new school based on the book called Coeuressence, I know I am not alone. When those moments of loneliness come, I will look up and see many of my fellow spiritual warriors floating down into their next assignments.

"Move your arms!" I hear, and as I do, I feel I am flying, supported by my own wings... and realize we all are stepping into who we truly are - human angels.

Birth by Fire

Cone Nebula. Photo courtesy of NASA

The fire of the Leo New Moon is burning. Have you felt the heat? A record heat wave has moved across the country. Through this heat, gold is tempered and formed. With carbon and pressure, the heat performs its alchemical magic and transforms the carbon-based substance into precious diamonds, the hardest of all structures. The fourteenth card of the Tarot deck teaches us temperance. It is the fusion and mixing of opposites, fire with water, heaven with earth, as a means of birthing our creative self-expression, all through trial by fire.

Through the heat and pressure cooker-like energies of late, we dive deep into our oceans of emotions, gather our hidden treasures, and rise above our internal inferno, like the phoenix, reborn. Our dreams, passions, and purpose amalgamate with our true essence and human flesh. Our treasures can no longer remain hidden. It is time to rise and be who you are. Your God Self demands attention.

I can only describe the energies of late as INTENSE. As my impurities were boiled out in the pressure cooker energies, and the last known remnants of resistance squeezed out of me like toothpaste from a tube, my treasures emerged and with them, more clarity. Not only is it time to walk my talk, but to talk my walk. With books, computer, clothes and my faith, I set out for points unknown. As one of the keys in my book, In the Key of Life, An Activational Journey to the Soul, says, "A bear cannot hibernate forever." It is time to emerge from the sleepy and idle warmth of my den and, as the next key states, "Cast your net upon the sea and let your faith feed you." Now, I live the book. Now, I speak the book. I am the book and it is me.

I set out on my journey in September to "talk the book" and build interest in the school I am creating based on the book. The school, called Coeuressence, is an experiential journey of self-discovery and self-mastery, similar to the ancient mystery schools. Although primarily a distance learning school, students will meet two to three times during the five month program and will be provided with tools and experiences to unlock their hidden treasures.

I will be doing book signings, free introductory classes about the school, and my master initiation sessions while on the road. If you know of places to hold such events or if you would like to host an event, please email me at joan@joancerio.com. If you would like more information about myself, the school, where I will be speaking, or to make a love donation, please visit my website at joancerio.com.

Many blessings on your path!

Riding the Waves of Change

As I was taking my morning walk yesterday, I noticed I was walking as though I was on a ship that was listing upon the sea. I became quite dizzy and at one point, I felt like I might pass out. I spoke with a couple of my friends who also had similar symptoms. During my bout of dizziness, I thought about the significance of what came to me during the previous day's hike when I noticed the leaves, bark, and branches that had littered the path after a previous day's storm. There is beauty amongst the chaos, I thought, and there will be much chaos in the world. The key is to find the familiar pieces that serve as touch stones to relate to the unknown, the courage to continue to move forward and not look back, and to find magic in every day occurrences. This is what will sustain us. This and our love for one another. Soon things won't look the same and yet there is beauty in destruction and renewed life from what seems to be total devastation.

Our lives are waiting in the balance. Soon, we all will be tested. Where is our balance, where is our center? The earth herself is off balance. I felt her shift today and tilt to and fro. There will be much movement now, within and without. Within her, molten lava surfaces. Within her, tectonic plates move and create earthquakes. Upon her, social upheaval, unrest and more war. The building U.S. concern regarding Pakistan's involvement with terrorists concerns me. The night of September 11, 2001, I dreamed the U.S. used a nuclear weapon against Pakistan. It certainly feels within me, within the earth, and upon the earth, there are great rifts occurring. The tectonic plates are moving, colliding, and abrading each other. Movement unlike any I have experienced in this life is about to happen. I don't know what it will look like. What I do know is that it will arrive soon. I felt the beginning of it the other day, the heaviness, the anticipation. As I was walking down the hall of the healing center from which I work, I felt like I was walking down the corridor of a make-shift hospital.
While the battle rages outside, inside the rooms are all prepared waiting for the first casualty to arrive... knowing it will arrive. It is just a matter of time.

Now we will be tested in ways we have never been tested before. We will be asked to answer this question: Do we choose fear or do we choose love? That is the only question we need answer. The only one we need act upon. In truth, there is only one answer because all there is is love. Fear does not exist. Awakening is the realization there has always been only one choice all along from which infinite possibilities flow. Love is the ONLY answer.

Are you looking for lifelines to assist you in riding the waves of change? Enroll now in my new school of self-mastery called Coeuressence based on my book, In the Key of Life, An Activational Journey to the Soul. The school is primarily a distance learning school which begins in February 2008. For more information and to purchase a copy of my book, go to my website at joancerio.com.

The Holographic Reality...We're "Fractally" There!

When I think about the holographic universe, I think about the numbers one and ten, the one (1) and the many (10). That’s really what the holographic universe is. If we could pick apart all of the components of this universe and look at them on their grandest level and their minutest level, macroscopically and microscopically, we would see that the big picture and the little picture really are the same. It is all just a mirror of each other. The one and the many are the same thing. In numerology, if I add each of the digits of the number 10 together, the sum is 1. We are all one.

What does that mean for us? Does that mean we are all the same? What I think the holographic universe is telling us is we are mirrors for each other. We are mirrors to show our greatest potential and our weakest links. We are made of the same stuff as the universe. But, the one (the uni-verse) manifests itself differently, in as many ways as it chooses. The only way the universal consciousness or the cosmic mind can know itself is through creation. If the one consciousness could not relate with another, it would have no reference point. The purpose of relationships is to provide a reference point and a mirror through which we come to know ourselves.

If you were creating in order to know who you truly are, wouldn't you choose to create a myriad of things, as many things as possible to know whom you are in this instance versus who you are in that one? So, the holographic reality, the cosmic mind says, hmmm, what do I choose today? How do I know myself in this moment? Have I ever experienced X? No. What happens? The universe chooses X and as soon as it chooses X, X exists. Now there is another soul, X, another individuated genius of the energy matrix, of the universal consciousness, of the holographic reality. X is no different than anything the universe has created. And yet, X’s expression of that same source, that drop of universal energy of what is, gets to experience and express itself in very unique ways.

Can we realize, incorporate, and integrate the holographic reality into our reality? If this is true, then because everything is so connected, thought, which I propose travels faster than light, can break the barriers of time and space and allow us to manifest instantaneously. Some individuals have already been able to do this, Sai Baba for example. Will it happen in a grand way such that everyone everywhere on planet earth will, at some point, be able to think of a thing and it appears as fast as the thought goes out? If the universe is truly a mirror for each of us to show our core potential, then clearly we all have the ability to do this. The true essence of our being is to create things according to our wishes. Can a thought move mountains? Yes it can. This is how we have been creating, only in slow motion. Soon all of us, in our own time, get to hit the fast forward button and speed things up in our lives, so much so, that we now correlate our thought with the effect of that thought. What really makes the difference, breaks through the time-space barrier for us, I believe, is the repatterning of thoughts and the removal of preconceptions we have held for centuries, perhaps since the times of Atlantis, Lemuria, and Egypt. These old thought patterns and preconceptions from government, society, and religion are what hold us back from actualizing our true potentials.

So how do we break out of the old thought patterns? One way is to bring in high vibrational information in the form of words, symbols, sounds, or movement. In addition, the mind needs to have a new reference point from which to create its new holographic reality. This is, in effect, what my book, In the Key of Life, An Activational Journey to the Soul, does. It shatters the old belief systems and mental patterns and replaces them with a new reference point from which to construct a new holographic reality. The readers realize their essence and the power and purpose behind their lives. They now realize the joy and passion that comes from living the life they chose to live before they embodied. As a natural outcome, their reality is now a fully realized part of the larger holographic reality, instead of a fractionalized part. They know they are connected with everything that exists in the universe, whether it is with a tiny grain of sand on the earth or with a giant swirling nebula out in the cosmos.

Our holographic reality goes beyond all boundaries, borders, and beliefs because there are none in the minds of co-creators. We are part of the universal mind. We were always meant to be part of the one and the many, the holographic reality.

Abundance

Mother Nature is a beautiful mirror for me. She shows me how to be in right relationship with myself first, and then with all that is.

I noticed on my walk last night that no matter what I focused on, Mother Nature has an abundance of it. Whether it is rocks, trees, bushes, insects, birds, or the ferns in Oak Creek Canyon, it is provided in large quantities. When I look at the night sky, I see an abundance of stars and what seems to be an infinite black canvas upon which the stars are painted.

Then I turn my attention to myself.
My body is made of trillion of cells. If I were to take a microscope and look at any type of tissue from my body, I would see another reflection of nature. I too, am abundance expressed. Clearly, abundance is the natural state.

So, what keeps me from living my abundance? My thoughts
of being less than, there isn't enough money, enough time, etc. I see others struggle and wonder if I will as well. I have allowed others' thoughts to permeate my thought patterns. Thoughts such as "life is hard" and "life is suffering." CANCEL CLEAR! I erase all thoughts that are not in complete alignment with abundance. I replace them with: I am abundance. Abundance is my natural state.

There. Thank you Mother Nature.

Bridging Heaven and Earth

We are all bridge builders. We build bridges to form friendships, communicate with other cities, even to find our "pot of gold."

The bridge that I am currently building connects the earthly, the physical, the mundane to the heavenly, metaphysical and the profound. "I have come to build a bridge over a river of sadness for all to see," was one of the first "channelings" of my higher self. Think of your higher self as mission control and these bits of information that come in are your instructions. So, what does that instruction mean? I know that it's not to build a physical bridge. When the instruction first came in, I thought whatever I am to do, will be in the public eye to help people overcome their sadness. That's nice, I thought, and went on with my life.

Fast forward about five years to the present. I see the river of sadness swelling each day. Whether it is another natural disaster, war, poverty, hunger, or people so stressed they are at their breaking point, all of these con-tributaries feed into the river of sadness - and this is just the tip of the iceberg.

So, what is the bridge that I am building? Clearly, it is my life's work to awaken people to who they truly are: powerful co-creators with God. I recently published my first book, In the Key of Life, An Activational Journey to the Soul. I didn't write it with the intention of building a bridge over a river of sadness. Actually, I allowed the writings to flow from me, to be written on different days, with no intention of compiling them into a book. Until one day, I started to construct the structural supports of the "bridge." I typed the writings into the computer and then arranged them. I took each "girder" and thoughtfully placed it. The publishing task was like adding rebar to the matrix, into which the cement is poured. What completes the bridge surface is putting the book in the public eye, doing book signings and talks, conducting classes and facilitating experiences based on the book. What cuts the ribbon to open the bridge? I live as the God that I am. I acknowledge my part of the divine. I am the fully realized being that leads others from their perceived bondage and constraints of the physical 3D world. Through my writings, my words, my teachings and my example others are free to be who they are, connect with the divine spark within them waiting to be fed, allow themselves to be known as love and compassion, and become citizens of the multidimensional universe.

What bridges are you building? Which do you choose to cross? To read an excerpt from my book, please go to my website joancerio.com and click on the products & services page.

Fine Tuning

The energy around me has been weird lately. The best way for me to describe it is to liken it to changing a radio station (or frequency of radio waves). Remember when the only way to change a radio station was to rotate the knob of the tuner? While turning the knob, searching for the next station, there is usually some static. That's what it feels like now. I am changing from one frequency to the next and in between stations it feels scratchy and staticy. The energy is haphazard and dispersed versus focused.

Yesterday was a prime example. Almost every event was not quite in sync, like being between radio stations. Things occurred that prohibited me from completing my "planned" tasks, my router stopped working, and twice I was almost in an accident.

I am readjusting to a new frequency. And I know not to get comfortable at this frequency. The message, "Don't get comfortable," came in loud and clear last year. Who knows how long I will be at this frequency, on this "station." Like anything else in life, I enjoy it while it is here and I don't get attached to it. I allow the flow of my creation without placing limits on myself.

In truth, nothing is stationary. Everything moves and changes or it ceases to physically exist.

My life changes in every moment. Who I am now is different than who I was a moment ago. I am in a constant state of change that spirals endlessly in the eternal moment of now.

Think of now as a single point in which everything that has ever occurred, is occurring, and will ever occur, exists. Now is the universal reference point. When I live in the now, I am able to connect my heart center, my reference point, to the reference point of now, through which the universe exists.

I am fine tuning...making incremental changes as I use my heart center as my reference point. Yes, this is fine tuning. Mighty fine.

Coming Home

An interesting title for my first blog. I have been asked by several friends lately, when are you coming home? Home? The east coast is no longer my home. I live in Sedona, Arizona. Then I asked myself, "Is Sedona my home?" The answer came immediately. No. So where is home?

Home is where the heart is, so the saying goes. My heart is the center of my being, the core essence of who I am. After all, the heart has been associated with the emotion of love for centuries. Love is who we are, the "stuffings" of the universe. If I follow my heart, I am not following someone or something outside of myself. I am following an internal compass, a homing device, if you will, within my heart. As long as I follow the tracking beam of my homing device, I am good to go. It is similar to an ancient Chinese device used to find their way back home. They placed a wooden statue of their emperor, arm outstretched and finger pointing, atop a cart. Underneath the cart was a series of cogs that would turn as the wheels turned. As the cart was pulled, the wooden statue would turn in such a way as to always point toward home, no matter which direction the cart was pulled or how far away from home it was.

My heart has pulled me in many different directions, some thousands of miles away from "home." I imagine that some of my friends and family wonder about my wanderings. We all have our own path to follow. The heart knows what no one else has seen.

Do you know where home is? What is at the core or heart of your essence?

My book, In the Key of Life An Activational Journey to the Soul, provides nine keys to realizing who you truly are. It consists of a series of inspirational writings with accompanying sacred geometry drawings that represent the energy of the writing. The writings serve to activate your conscious mind, while the drawings activate the subconscious mind, unlocking the codes to living your divine purpose. The publication date is July 4, 2007 - Independence Day - freedom to be who you truly are.
